My Reading Coach Professional Edition is the perfect reading instruction tool for schools, businesses and other educational institutions. It has been proven to work with all types of students, even English as a second language (ESL) learners.
It offers educators a flexible reading and English instruction. The school or teacher can decide where it is used and who uses it:
Elementary schools use it for all of their second and third grade classes to improve their students' reading ability and test scores.
Organizations use it to help teach English in the fields of bilingual education and English as a second language.
Some schools use it to help students of various grade levels catch up to (and sometimes surpass) their peers in reading skills.
Some schools use it primarily for their special education departments.
Teachers use it to provide individualized reading instruction for students on either end of the learning curve, so the learners can go at their own pace.

Because of the numerous ways My Reading Coach can be used, we offer several different variations of the product. Below is a chart detailing what each package offers. Windows Workstation Requirements
- Windows® Millennium or newer
- 1Ghz processor or better
- 256 MB RAM
- 3 gigabytes (GB) free space on hard drive
- 8x CD-ROM drive
- 16-bit color ("High color")
- Windows® compatible sound card

Windows Server Requirements
- 500 MB of free hard drive space
- 256 MB RAM baseline and 256 MB RAM for every 20-30 workstations simultaneously using the program
- A Windows Server version (Windows 2000 Server or Windows Server 2003) is required if more than 10 workstations are to be using the program at the same time
- Either MySQL™ or Microsoft SQL Server™ is required for use over a network
- A MySQL™ license for use with My Reading Coach Gold Edition is included with the program. Windows 2000 or later is required.
- Microsoft SQL Server™ requires a Server version of Microsoft Windows®.
- Microsoft SQL Server™ is a commercial product and must be purchased and installed prior to installing My Reading Coach Gold
- A shared directory accessible to all the workstations (if student recordings are going to be saved)
These requirements are for a server dedicated to My Reading Coach Gold. If the server is going to be used for other things, additional RAM (at least 1 GB) and a faster processor or multiprocessor computer will be needed.
Non-Windows Server Options: There are special server installation CDs for Novell NetWare 6.5 and Linux versions supporting RPM. These must be requested at time of purchase. These OSes will use a MySQL database. The hardware requirements are the same as for Windows (above).
Macintosh Workstation Requirements
- G4 or better processor
- Mac OS® 10.2 or higher
- 256 MB RAM
- 4 gigabytes (GB) free space on hard drive
- 16-bit ("Thousands") or better color setting

If everything is to be installed on one computer, it must have at least 512 MB RAM.
Macintosh Server Requirements
- The network must be TCP/IP-based
- A static IP address
- G4 or better processor
- Mac OS® 10.2 or higher
- 512 MB RAM baseline, plus at least an extra 256 MB for every 15-20 workstations
- 700 MB of free hard drive space
- 8x CD-ROM drive or faster
