Comments on the My Reading Coach Reading Program

Over the years of developing and selling the My Reading Coach reading program (formerly known as "Larrabee's Bridge to Literacy™") we have received feedback on the program from a number of people from different areas.

Students often comment that they see a noticeable improvement in their reading ability, and that leads to increased confidence and self-esteem. They also like the way the program provides encouragement. Older learners like the private, non-embarrassing interaction with the computer.

Parents told us that this reading program has succeeded where other programs have failed. Many also say that their children start reading for pleasure after completing My Reading Coach.

Educators have praised the individualized, self-paced teaching of this reading program. Combined with the program's immediate feedback, teachers and administrators have seen years worth of improvement in only months. Besides increased reading skills scores, their students show greater self-confidence and participate more in class.

Pilot programs in the Arizona Department of Corrections yielded comments about how the program was successful with adult reluctant learners and English as a second language adults.
